New management at Robinson Helicopter Company

At the Heli-Expo 2024 in Anaheim (Los Angeles), Kurt Robinson handed over the management to David Smith.

David Smith is the new President and CEO of Robinson Helicopter Company.

Kurt Robinson will remain on the board of the privately owned company.

The last change of leadership at Robinson Helicopter took place in 2010, when founder Frank Robinson retired and Kurt Robinson was appointed President and CEO by the Board of Directors.

Impressive figures
In 2023, Robinson Helicopter sold 15% more helicopters compared to 2022 and will reach the 14,000 helicopter sales mark this year.

Reliability and Safety
Robinson Helicopter is also one step ahead in terms of safety and reliability.
The R66 Turbine helicopter has completed 1.8 million flight hours without an engine fault. An impressive result that reflects the high quality and safety standards.
